This section of the site is for consumers who would like a Home Assessment.
Green LLC's Home Energy Performance Assessment helps you to identify the opportunities to improve your energy efficiency and save on monthly utility bills. If your home is over 10 years old, there could be significant opportunities to save.
Our assessment includes
- An energy efficiency report. Our homes and buildings collectively manage to consume 48% of the nationâs energy! Far more than cars and SUV's (7%). Therefore the first step in our assessment is of course to look at where you are consuming energy and seek potential ways to improve on your present footprint.
- An overview of your drain on natural resources The main elements here are electricity, natural gas and water. We will give you an indication of how your home is doing and update you regularly as our databases continue to grow.
- An indication of carriers of potential poisonous substances Many materials contain substances and additives that are made of that either emit poisonous substances (off Gassing) or are harmful to the environment when discarded in the trash.
- Waste, refuse and recycling analysis. Our report will help you to understand which products need to have more care taken in their disposal to reduce the amount of poisonous substances that you land up adding to landfill.
The Benefits of the Green LLC's Home Energy Performance Assessment is first and foremost, knowledge. The report will give you a good overview of where you are and what you could improve. The second improvement is often comfort, especially when it comes to the HVAC system and finally there is a good chance that you can make cost savings to your monthly bills, depending on what has already been implemented.

Each assessment takes 3-4 hours to complete with the home owner/resident. Together we will go through the property documenting the sources of energy consumption and gaining an understanding of the property. Following the initial assessment, we will produce a report within 10 days with recommendations and guidelines for the home owner to make improvements on your energy efficiency. These will be presented in the form of a sustainability roadmap - a plan to improve your efficiency over time. Improving energy efficiency is the first substantial step that consumers can take towards a more sustainable future.
